Alexandra Suárez

Lateral Strategy Founder | CX & Innovation Strategist

I’m a lifelong learner who never outgrew the “why” phase of a five-year-old—now I get paid to ask great questions. I have always believed that behind every data point, there’s a human with needs. Innovation, for me, comes from staying curious, listening deeply, and challenging assumptions. Some of my best ideas emerge when I’m outdoors, quietly observing and thinking freely.

What inspires me is the opportunity to turn data into action—helping businesses enhance customer experiences and create real impact. With over 20 years of experience in Market Research and Brand Strategy, I’ve partnered with Fortune 500 companies in healthcare, banking, and education, identifying key pain points and designing strategies that strengthen the bond between brands and their customers.

Academically, I hold an MBA in Consumer Behavior from Cornell University and ESADE, which equips me with a people-centered and data-driven perspective for every strategic challenge. Beyond analytics, I believe creativity is the most powerful tool for transformation. This belief led me to train as a facilitator at the Creative Problem-Solving Institute in New York and as part of the Design Thinking team at the LUMA Institute/Mural—bringing creative methodologies
into every project I lead.

doesn’t happen by chance—it’s planned, anticipated, and driven by action. I also believe the best ideas often come from unexpected places—whether in a dynamic brainstorming session or hidden within the pages of a great book.

At Lateral Strategy, I help businesses grow smarter by aligning strategies, optimizing resources, and strengthening organizational capabilities. With over 25 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Market Research, and Business Improvement, I’ve led high-impact initiatives in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries. My expertise lies in transforming data into strategies
that drive efficiency and foster sustainable long-term growth.

My academic journey began with a degree in Sociology from Boston University, followed by a Master’s degree at NYU and Executive Education at Wharton. I am also a Certified Human-Centered Design Practitioner through the LUMA Institute, which equips me to approach every strategic challenge with a people-centered and results-driven perspective.
